Southern California Trojans sophomore forward Chimezie Metu announced on Instagram that he would be returning to school for his junior season.
Metu had a breakout sophomore season for USC and contemplated at least testing the NBA Draft waters. By returning to school, the Trojans should stay near the top of the Pac-12 standings with Metu having a shot at earning national accolades.
Metu averaged 14.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 55.2 percent from the field his sophomore season.
