South Carolina Gamecocks sophomore guard PJ Dozier has declared for the 2017 NBA Draft but will not hire an agent, per a release by the school.
Dozier helped guide the Gamecocks to their first-ever Final Four appearance and is looking to capitalize on the success. The sophomore was a highly-recruited prospect coming out of high school and fits the size and stature of an NBA shooting guard. His three-point shooting, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Dozier ranks 65th in Draft Express' top-100 prospects ranks.
Dozier averaged 13.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.2 three-pointers per game while shooting 29.8 percent on 3.9 three-point attempts per game.
