Zach Collins leaving Gonzaga for the NBA Draft
Gonzaga Bulldogs freshman center Zach Collins will enter the 2017 NBA Draft and hire an agent, ending his college career, per Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
What It Means:
Collins was a big boost off the bench for the Bulldogs as the backup center to Przemek Karnowski. As a true seven-footer, the freshman has high draft hopes as he is projected to go anywhere from the lottery to late in the first round.
Collins averaged 10.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in just 17.1 minutes per game last season.
