Baylor Bears junior guard Allerik Freeman will graduate this spring and transfer to another program for his final year of eligibility, per Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
Since he will become a graduate student, Freeman will not have to sit out a year, making him eligible to play in the 2017-18 season. No word on what schools he is looking at but his departure will be a big loss for the Bears, as he started 22 games last season.
Freeman averaged 9.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.4 three-points in 23.9 minutes per game.
