Mike Lewis has asked Duquesne for his release to trnasfer
Duquesne Dukes freshman guard Mike Lewis has requested to be released from the school so he can transfer, per Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports.
The Dukes fired head coach Jim Ferry, prompting Lewis' request. If he is denied, the freshman would have to sit out an entire season before playing again. If the Dukes release Lewis, he can play for whichever school he chooses in the fall.
Lewis averaged 14.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.0 three-pointers per game his freshman season.
