Caleb Swanigan and Purdue come up short against Kansas
Purdue Boilermakers sophomore forward Caleb Swanigan scored 18 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists in Thursday's 98-66 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks.
What It Means:
There was nothing Swanigan could do as the Jayhawks shot 55 percent from the field and 54 percent from three. The sophomore forward hit three three-pointers of his own, tying a season-high. With the Boilermakers season over, Swanigan will now have to decide if he wants to return for his junior year or go pro.
Swanigan averaged 18.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.3 steals in three NCAA Tournament games.
