Ohio State Buckeyes junior forward Trevor Thompson will forego his final year of eligibility and is eligible for the 2017 NBA Draft, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
Thompson has not been clear if he has officially declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft or if he is seeking to play overseas. Either way, the seven-footer will not be back in Columbus for the 2017-18 season.
Thompson averaged 10.6 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in 23.0 minutes per game this season.
