Pittsburgh hopeful to have Ryan Luther back this week
Pittsburgh Panthers junior forward Ryan Luther (foot) is expected to return to action this week, according to Craig Meyer of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
What It Means:
Luther has missed the last 12 games with a stress reaction in his foot but looks ready to return either Tuesday versus the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets or Saturday versus the Virginia Cavaliers. The Panthers have gone 3-9 in his absence and own a 15-14 record overall.
Luther is averaging 6.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 20.5 minutes per game this season.
