Sunday was only Hayes' third double-double of the season and first with 20 or more points. He took a team-high 15 shots and made six, while going 9-of-14 from the stripe for his second 20-plus point game of 2017.
Hayes helped the Badgers rebound from their first losing streak of the season and upped their record against top-25 ranked teams to 3-3.
