Louisville Cardinals sophomore guard Donovan Mitchell scored a game-high 26 with five rebounds and two assists in Saturday's win over the Virginia Tech Hokies.
Mitchell went 8-for-13 from the floor, 5-for-7 from three, and 5-for-6 from the stripe as he racked up his seventh consecutive game with at least 16 points. He is averaging 21.7 points and 3.4 three-pointers in his last seven games.
Overall, Mitchell is averaging 15.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 three-pointers per game this season.
