Jalen Brunson's double-double guides Villanova to a rout on Saturday
Villanova Wildcats sophomore guard Jalen Brunson scored 22 points with 10 assists for his first double-double fo the season in Saturday's 22-point win over the Seton Hall Pirates.
What It Means:
The 10 assists were a career-high for Brunson, who was averaging 4.3 per game entering Saturday. The sophomore was perfect from the field 7-for-7 as he scored 20 or more points for the second time this month. Brunson also added four rebounds and two three-pointers in 32 minutes.
Brunson ranks in the top 50 with a 126.9 offensive rating and the top 25 with a 66.0 true shooting percentage while averaging 14.6 points per game.
