Arizona Wildcats freshman forward Lauri Markkanen scored 26 points with 13 rebounds, one assist, and two steals in Saturday's win over the Washington Huskies.
Markkanen was 9-for-17 from the field but missed both three-point attempts as he failed to sink a three for only the third time this season. The double-double was his second in a row and fifth of the year. After a four-game slump, the freshman has averaged 22.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in his last two games.
Markkanen remains one of the most efficient players in the nation as he owns a 131.2 offensive rating and 64.9 true shooting percentage.
