Washington suspends Malik Dime indefinitely for slapping a heckler

Washington Huskies senior forward Malik Dime has been suspended indefinitely for slapping a heckler at the end of the first half of Thursday's loss to the Colorado Buffaloes, according to ESPN.

What It Means:

Dime, who has has been sitting out the past nine games with a broken pinkie, had to be restrained by Washington coaches after slapping the Colorado fan. He later apologized for the incident, and the fan was quoted as saying "everything's been made right." With the Huskies out of the running for the big dance, Dime's college career is likely over.

Dime averaged 5.5 points and 4.9 rebounds in 15 games this season.
