Penn State Nittany Lions freshman forward Lamar Stevens scored a game-high 25 points with 7 rebounds and 3 steals in Tuesday's 70-64 upset win over the Maryland Terrapins.
Stevens was 8-for-13 from the field and 8-for-12 from the line for his second game with 25 or more points in his last three contests. Like many freshmen, Stevens has been inconsistent this season, reaching double-digit points in just 15-of-25 games.
Stevens is averaging just 12.0 points per game on the season and only 8.3 points in his previous seven games.
