Peter Jok sitting out Iowa's game against Rutgers on Tuesday

Iowa Hawkeyes senior guard Peter Jok will not play on Wednesday, due to back and shoulder injuries, versus the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

What It Means:

Jok will now miss two consecutive games with the injury issues, and there is real cause for concern he may be finished this season. For now, we will consider Jok questionable to play on Saturday versus the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Isaiah Moss and Brady Ellingson will continue to eat up the available minutes with Jok sidelined.

The Hawkeyes are 12-10 and sit firmly out of the field of 68, with only a 2.9 percent chance of making the big dance by our algorithms. Their only real shot of going dancing is winning the Big 10 Tournament, which will require a healthy Jok -- and his 21.0 points per game -- to do that.
