Alec Peters double-doubles for the fourth consecutive game for Valparaiso
Valparaiso Crusaders senior forward Alec Peters recorded his fourth consecutive double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds in Sunday's win over the Northern Kentucky Norse.
What It Means:
Peters had his worst shooting game of the year while posting his second-lowest scoring game of the season as he went 4-for-15 from the floor including 2-for-8 from three. He is averaging 23.9 points per game this year, good for second-most in the nation. His 11.1 rebounds also put him seventh overall as well.
With potential NBA lottery pick Peters leading the charge, the Crusaders have won seven straight games, bringing their record to 18-4, and they entered Sunday with a 69.3 percent chance of making the NCAA Tournament this season.
