Arizona Wildcats freshman forward Lauri Markkanen went 5-for-6 from three as he scored 23 points in Thursday's win over the USC Trojans.
Markkanen has been on fire lately, making 13-of-18 (72.2 percent) three-pointers his last three games. He is averaging 25.0 points per game during the same stretch. The freshman added eight rebounds with a steal and a block on Thursday.
Markkanen is making 48.9 percent of his three-point attempts this season while posting a .670 true shooting percentage.
