Kyron Cartwright goes off as Providence knocks off Georgetown
Providence Friars junior guard Kyron Cartwright nearly pulled off a triple-double as he scored 16 points with 9 rebounds and 11 assists in Monday's win over the Georgetown Hoyas.
Cartwright, who was averaging just 9.8 points per game entering Monday, scored in double figures for only the seventh time this season. He also tied his season-high in rebounds. While the assists aren't all that unexpected, the rest is just a random performance from the Friars' fourth-leading scorer.
Cartwright does lead the team with 7.1 assists per game and is third in the nation with a 45.1 assist percentage.
