Artis' huge point total was over 50 percent of the Panthers 80 points on the night and represented the second-largest scoring output in the long history of the program. The senior was extremely efficient, taking only 22 shots that included 13 three-pointers, seven of which he made. Artis also scored 32 of his points in the second-half as Pitt made a run to keep the game close. Tuesday was his fifth-straight 20-plus points game as he is averaging 29.0 points per contest the last two weeks.

Despite the recent scoring outbursts, Artis still ranks second on the team, behind Michael Young, with 21.5 points per game.
