Valparaiso Crusaders senior forward Alec Peters logged 23 points and eight rebounds in Wednesday's loss to the Kentucky Wildcats.
The highly thought of NBA prospect finally got to show his worth against top college competition and did not disappoint as he went 9-for-20 from the floor and 4-for-4 from the line. Peters' 23 point performance was his ninth straight 20-plus point game and perhaps his most impressive as he faced off with a Kentucky lineup full of future pros.
Peters is having a monster season so far as he is third in the nation with a 25.1 point per game scoring average while averaging nearly 9.0 rebounds per game.
