The problem wasn't that I was a bad shooter -- in fact it was the opposite -- but rather that my temporary childhood size made me much more apt to be a frontcourt player than a backcourt player. Maybe I was just ahead of the curve (I really was. I'm guard-sized now.)

Anyway, the affinity for the three-ball is growing because of both analytics and the show that Stephen Curry is putting on in the NBA.

Some schools live and die by the three, and when they face an opponent that allows a high rate of three-point shots, that could spell an upset.
