NCAA Tournament First Four Preview: Will USC or Providence Advance?
In a battle of two teams advanced metrics are not thrilled about, USC and Providence will square off for the right to advance to the field of 64.

If Tuesday’s First Four matchup featured two teams the computers liked more than conventional wisdom, tonight's second game has two teams the ratings are sour on.

In Wednesday's second game, Southern California and Providence will square off for the right to play 6 seed Southern Methodist in the round of 64. The Trojans are 58th in our power ratings, while Providence is a slot below them.
