Despite recent success and strong fundamentals, the committee decided to play corporate and give a ton of extra credit to power conference teams, leaving solid squads like the Shockers woefully underseeded. No matter.

They're one of only nine teams that are in the top 20 of both offensive and defensive efficiency, and they draw an overrated Kansas (nERD: 10) team the round of 32. They're more efficient than the Jayhawks on both sides of the ball, so if you're in a upset scoring bracket, you have to like their chances.
