Texas Longhorns

The Texas Longhorns are one of the most underrated teams in this year's NCAA tournament, and they could do a lot of damage as an 11 seed.

There's no denying it's been an up-and-down season for the Longhorns, but ranked 19th in our power rankings, the Longhorns are better suited for the back end of the 4 seed line than the 11 seed they're slotted at.

Why?

They've played the 17th-hardest schedule in all of college basketball and come out of the best conference in the nation. In fact, in this past week's Big 12 tournament, Texas lost to the eventual champion Iowa State on a buzzer-beater.

Going forward, the Longhorns could be a threat to Kentucky within their section of the bracket. They're 19th in the nation in Adjusted Defensive Rating, and gave Kentucky a run for their money early on this season as they lost to the Wildcats 63-51 without point guard Isaiah Taylor.
