On the Rise: USC Trojans

While UCLA and Oregon really have some star power to replace this season, USC's got all its big pieces from last season back for another run. Coach Andy Enfield's Trojans return their top eight scorers from last season, which is nearly unheard of in college basketball.

After sneaking into the NCAA Tournament as an 11-seed last season, USC knocked off Providence in the First Four and upset six-seed SMU. That experience should prove valuable to this year's returning core, which features senior guards Jordan McLaughlin (12.9 points per game) and Elijah Stewart (12.3 ppg), as well as junior forwards Bennie Boatwright (15.1 ppg) and Chimezie Metu (14.8 ppg).

Add Duke transfer Derryck Thornton to this year's mix, and USC should be one of the most explosive offensive teams in the country.
