Suns' Devin Booker has hand surgery, will miss six weeks
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker underwent hand surgery and is estimated to be out for six weeks.
Six weeks from today is October 22, which means that Booker should miss all of preseason and could miss regular season games against the Mavericks, Nuggets, and Warriors. Troy Daniels had 14 starts at shooting guard for the Suns last season and could be looked to again if Booker is out.
Booker averaged 24.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and shot 38.3% from three and 87.8% from the line in the 2017-18 season, all career highs.
