The Kings have traded away Carl Landry, Jason Thompson, Nik Stauskas, and a protected first-round pick to the 76ers in exchange for a second-round pick and rights to overseas players not named Dario Saric. Philadelphia will also gain the option to swap first-round picks in the next two drafts.
The Kings made this trade to dump salary and be able to go after free agents Rajon Rondo, Wesley Matthews, and Monta Ellis. For Sixers this is a great trade as they add a 2014 first-round pick in Stauskas and future draft picks. Sam Hinkie is at it again.
