Shelvin Mack nearing 1-year agreement with Grizzlies
Free agent point guard Shelvin Mack, previously of the Orlando Magic, and the Memphis Grizzlies are "progressing in talks on a one-year deal," according to Adrian Wojnarowski†of ESPN.
What It Means:
Mack logged 19.8 minutes per game for the Magic last season but he likely wouldn't see nearly as much opportunity playing behind a healthy Mike Conley.
Mack averaged 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 0.8 steals in 69 games (three starts) last season.
