Isaiah Thomas reportedly agrees to veteran minimum with Nuggets
Free agent point guard Isaiah Thomas, formerly of the Los Angeles Lakers, has agreed to a 1-year deal with the Denver Nuggets at the veteran minimum, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Thomas will be reunited with head coach Mike Malone, whom he played for as a member of the Sacramento Kings. After a dreadful 2017-18 campaign, the 29-year-old guard will have an opportunity to re-establish himself in Denver, likely as the third guard behind Jamal Murray and Gary Harris.
IT averaged 23.6 FanDuel points in 32 combined games for the Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers last season while recording 15.2 points, 4.8 assists, 2.1 rebounds, 0.5 steals, 1.7 treys, and 3.0 turnovers per game while shooting 37.3 percent from the field and 29.3 percent from deep.
