Tyreke Evans finalizing a one-year deal with Indiana
Former Memphis Grizzlies guard Tyreke Evans and the Indian Pacers are finalizing a one-year deal worth $12M, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
What It Means:
One of the last high profile free agents left, Evans joins a Pacers squad full of wing and guard options as they add reinforcements for a run at a LeBron James-less Eastern Conference. Evans has the versatility to play three positions and will likely see extensive run now matter if he starts each game on the bench.
Evans averaged 19.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in 2017-18.
