Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports forward LeBron James has agreed to a four year, $154M deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.
No decision special this time as the deal was announced by James' agents, Klutch Sports. Speculation was around that the King wanted to play in LA, but the length of the deal was a bit surprising. While the fourth year of the contract is a player option, James' reign with the Lakers will extend until at least 2021. Now the Lakers turn their attention to adding another superstar into the mix, most notably Kawhi Leonard or DeMarcus Cousins.
James is coming off one of his best seasons, averaging 27.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 9.1 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game in 2017-18.
