Trevor Ariza headed to Phoenix after agreeing to one-year, $15M deal
The Phoenix Suns and forward Trevor Ariza have agreed to a one-year, $15M deal, per Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports
A bit of a stunner as Ariza bolts the Rockets for the rebuilding Suns. At 33-years-old, the forward was looking to make some money as his career enters its final phase. He is expected to mentor the Suns' young wings and bring a defensive presence to the NBA's worst team in 2017-18.
Ariza averaged 11.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game in 2017-18.
