The Golden State Warriors and forward Kevin Durant have agreed to a two-year, $61.5M deal, per Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.
After back-to-back titles and Finals MVP trophies, KD returns for at least one more year by the bay. His deal includes a player option for the 2019-20 season when the salary cap is scheduled to rise significantly, and Durant could be looking to move on for a new challenge. For now, the Dubs return as strong as ever looking for a three-peat in 2019.
Durant averaged 26.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game in 2017-18.
