Spurs' Danny Green excerises player option for 2018-19 season
San Antonio Spurs guard Danny Green has exercised his option for the 2018-19 season worth $10M, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
No surprise here as Green was expected to pick up his option with the limited amount of cash teams have to spend in free agency this summer. The guard started the majority of his games played in 2017-18 but could be moved to the bench, depending on how the Spurs' roster shales out this offseason.
Green averaged 8.6 points on 38.7% shooting from the field and 36.3% from beyond the arc last season.
