Nuggets' Wilson Chandler will exercise player option for 2018-19 season
Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler will exercise his $12.8M player option for the 2018-19 season, per Chris Haynes of ESPN.
The 31-year-old Chandler made the smart decision as free agency this year is not likely to be a spending spree for many teams, especially for players coming off possibly their worst NBA season. He is expected to remain the starter on the wing next season despite the drafting of Michael Porter Jr.
Chandler finished the 2017-18 season with 10.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.
