Charlotte Hornets select Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with the 11th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft
Kentucky Wildcats guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been selected eleventh by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2018 NBA Draft.
The 6'6" Gilgeous-Alexander likely won't start right away. However, there has been trade interest in Kemba Walker, according to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com. If that were to happen, then the rookie's minutes would likely get a big boost.
Gilgeous-Alexander averaged a well-rounded 14.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in his freshman season.
