Duncan and Ginobili to take reduced salaries next season?
Not only is Tim Duncan recruiting LeMarcus Aldridge, but he is also reportedly willing to take a pay cut in order for the Spurs to sign the big man from Portland and to resign Kawhi Leonard. Manu Ginobili is willing to sacrifice some cash for the same purpose. Talk about team players!
What It Means:
Duncan and Ginobili are demonstrating the class and maturity that has been embedded within the Spurs organization for quite some time. This type of team-first altruistic mentality that exists on and off the court is what builds championship caliber franchises. Take notes NBA.
