Jodie Meeks

Jodie Meeks undergoes surgery, out 12 to 16 weeks for Pistons

Detroit Pistons guard Jodie Meeks had surgery on Thursday night to repair a non-displaced fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot and will be sidelined for 12 to 16 weeks.

What It Means:

This puts Meeks in line for a return in February at the absolute earliest. Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson will see additional minutes off the bench with Meeks sidelined.

This is obviously a tough blow both for Meeks and the Pistons, as they lose Meeks' production off the bench. He finished last season with a 110 Offensive Rating and a .548 True Shooting Percentage. He averaged 24.4 minutes per game, so if Bullock and Johnson are forced to divvy his minutes between the two of them, there won't be much fantasy opportunity to be had.
