Kosta Koufos exercising his 2018-19 player option with Kings
Sacramento Kings center Kosta Koufos is opting in to his player option for the 2018-19 season.
What It Means:
Koufos will earn $8.7 million next season and he'll be a free agent in the summer of 2019. It's a solid contract for the 29 year-old big man, but it's not great for the fantasy value of Willie Cauley-Stein or Skal Labissiere next season.
Koufos averaged 19.2 FanDuel points this past season, to go with 6.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 0.5 blocks per game.
