Thunder's Paul George undergoes knee surgery, out six-to-eight weeks
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Wednesday and he's expected to resume basketball activities in 6-8 weeks.
What It Means:
George is heading into free agency this summer if he declines his $20.7 million player option, and it looks like he'll be back to basketball activities around the time free agency begins. He should have plenty of time to be ready for training camp, but it's not yet known which camp George will be in later in the fall.
Paul wrapped up the regular and postseason averaging 38.6 FanDuel points, to go with 21.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
