Knicks reportedly agree to 4-year deal with David Fizdale to become new head coach
The New York Knicks have agreed to a four-year deal with David Fizdale to become the team's new head coach, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The Knicks land one of the best candidates on the market as Fizdale will become the Knicks’ 11th head coach since the 2001-02 season. He earned a playoff berth in his only full season as a head coach with the Grizzlies in 2016-17 but was fired year after starting 7-12.
Fizdale is 50-51 as a head coach in the regular season.
