JaVale McGee heads to the bench with Warriors going small against Pelicans
Golden State Warriors center JaVale McGee will come off the bench for Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Saturday.
The Dubs are going small versus Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans, starting Nick Young at small forward and moving Draymond Green to the middle to guard Daivs. McGee wasn't seeing heavy minutes in the first-round and will likely see them shrink more against the fast-paced Pels.
McGee averaged 8.4 points and 5.2 rebounds in 16.4 minutes per game against the San Antonio Spurs in the first-round.
