Steve Blake (concussion) returns to Pistons practice
Detroit Pistons guard Steve Blake (concussion) returned to practice on Tuesday and is hoping to play in Friday's preseason finale.
Blake's original targeted return date was October 16th, but he experienced headaches, pushing that back. He'll compete with Spencer Dinwiddie for the team's back-up point guard role until Brandon Jennings is able to return from his Achilles injury.
Given the expected volume, our algorithms don't see Blake contributing much this season. They have him down for 2.9 points and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 39 percent from the field and 35 percent from outside. The projected rate stats are even less impressive for Dinwiddie, however, at a 34.4 percent field goal percentage and 25.0 percent three-point percentage.
