Mutual interest between Mo Williams and Cavs
Unrestricted free agent Mo Williams will meet with the Cavs once free agency begins. There is mutual interest between the two parties.
What It Means:
Williams would backup point guard Kyrie Irving. He gives the Cavs a scoring threat off the bench who averaged 14.2 points and 6.2 assists after he was traded to Charlotte at the deadline. Additionally, he is more than capable of filling in for Kyrie Irving in the event that he is not able to return by the start of the season and is familiar with Lebron from their previous stint together in Cleveland. We love this move for the Cavs.
