JaVale McGee confirmed as Warriors' starting center for Game 1
The Athletic's Tim Kawakami reports Golden State Warriors center JaVale McGee will start at center against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
A previous report suggested that McGee might start over Zaza Pachulia, and Steve Kerr's lineup confirms that now. With the Spurs deploying LaMarcus Aldridge at center in a small lineup, McGee's athleticism could be the reasoning for this move.
Prior to the news, McGee was projected for 10.8 minutes and 11.7 FanDuel points. He comes in at just $3,600.
