According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the New York Knicks have fired head coach Jeff Hornacek.
Having gone 29-53 this season, Hornacek finishes with a record of 60-104 in his two years with the team. There was some doubt that he would be canned with the effect injuries had on the Knicks' season, but they'll look elsewhere now. David Flatt, David Fizdale and Mark Jackson are among the early candidates for the job.
With a nERD of 37.1, the Knicks finished the year ranked 23rd in our NBA power rankings.
