Marc Gasol will be rested for Grizzlies on Friday
Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol (rest) will not play on Friday against the Sacramento Kings.
It's not a back-to-back set, but Gasol will sit anyway. He scored 0 points in a lifeless 20 minutes on Wednesday versus the New Orleans Pelicans. The Grizzlies are currently 1.5 games behind the Phoenix Suns for the best lottery odds and only half a game ahead of the Atlanta Hawks. JaMychal Green (knee), Jarell Martin (ankle), and Chandler Parsons (knee) have also been ruled out, so look for Ivan Rabb and Deyonta Davis to play heavy minutes in the frontcourt for Memphis on Friday.
Gasol is averaging 21.8 FanDuel points over the last four games, down from 36.1 FanDuel points per game for the season.
