Rodney Purvis to make first career start for Magic on Wednesday in place of Wes Iwundu (illness)
Orlando Magic point guard Rodney Purvis will start on Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets.
Wes Iwundu is out sick, so Purvis will take his spot in the first unit. The 24-year-old undrafted rookie just signed a rest-of-season deal with the Magic earlier this afternoon and now he'll make the first start of his career in what will be his eighth NBA contest. Purvis scored a personal-best 19 points in 22 minutes last Thursday.
numberFire's models project Purvis to play 17 minutes and score 8.8 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,500 on Wednesday.
