Nikola Mirotic (hip) will not play Saturday for New Orleans
New Orleans Pelicans forward Nikola Mirotic (hip) will not play Saturday versus the Houston Rockets.
Mirotic is dealing with a strained hip flexor but head coach Alvin Gentry doesn't appear too worried about the injury, making the move on Saturday more precautionary. Darius Miller and Cheick Diallo will see extra minutes in the frontcourt with Anthony Davis looking at another 40-plus minute night.
Mirotic has averaged just 12.9 points on 38.6% shooting in 22 games with New Orleans this season.
