According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Sacramento is "probing" Calipari about a role coaching the Kings and running the front office.
There were reports last week that the Kings were considering firing George Karl over his desire to trade DeMarcus Cousins. The Kings also recently made Vlade Divac their top basketball executive, so things look just as unstable in the front office. John Calipari reportedly turned down a similar role in Cleveland last off season before LeBron came back, so it's hard to see him accepting a similar offer with the dysfunctional Kings.
